As teased at the end of Made by Google 2024 in August, a Google Store is coming to Santa Monica and will open Friday, March 7.
This is Google’s sixth retail location and will be the second in California after Mountain View. It’s located at 1460 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA 90401 and will open on Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. PT.
The store is located at the busy southern end of the Third Street Promenade just before the Santa Monica Place mall. Just a few blocks from the Santa Monica Pier and beach, this is a prominent retail location.
Store hours are as follows:
- Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. PT
- Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. PT
You can test and buy Pixel phones, watches, earbuds, and tablets, as well as Nest smart home products from cameras to thermostats. There’s also Fitbit and other device accessories. Like other sites, you can buy branded merchandise.
Meanwhile, those in Los Angeles can order online and pick in the store, while Google offers troubleshooting and Pixel phone repair.
Google Store Santa Monica follows Chelsea (2021), Williamsburg (2022), Mountain View (2023), Newbury Street (2024), and Oakbrook (2024). A seventh store is already underway in Austin.
