Lenovo’s 8.8-inch Legion Tab comes with a free case and 65W charger

The Lenovo Legion Tab turned out to be a highlight of CES 2025, bringing one of the first new small, but powerful Android tablets in years. If you’re keen to check it out, the Legion Tab is already shipping to customers, and as an added bonus, it comes with a free case.

To quickly summarize the Legion Tab, Lenovo’s new gaming tablet packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12GB of RAM into a compact Android tablet with an 8.8-inch display. With its gaming focus, the dual USB-C ports and 165Hz display shine, but we found it to be a pretty solid option even beyond gaming in our early hands-on.

Initially, it was thought that the Legion Tab would be available later this month, but it turns out that it’s available for purchase and immediately shipping to customers for $499 directly from Lenovo’s website.

Included in the box you’ll also get a free folio case and “film,” which presumably refers to a screen protector. There’s also a 65W charger included with a USB-C cable, something you’re not guaranteed to find in other tablets at twice the cost of this one, so it’s an appreciated bundle.

This is exactly the form factor I want. I don't want 10 or more inches, but I do want something bigger than a phone.

Lenovo notes that stock for the Legion Tab is currently “limited,” so you’ll want to act fast if you want to get the tablet soon!

If you sign up for a Lenovo account, you can get free expedited shipping, and Lenovo’s website has coupons available in pop-ups for $10 or more off.

Update: The Legion Tab has now sold out of its initial batch of inventory, with the website now marking the tablet as “Available Soon.” Orders placed before it sold out, though, did ship immediately. Below you can see a receipt from my own personal order.
