Chrome Remote Desktop is a very useful tool, and with its Android app you can easily access your PC anywhere. However, there are some limits. The basic functionality has been there from the start, and now Google is boosting that up a bit with the addition of audio streaming through the app.
The latest update to Chrome Remote Desktop on Android has enabled audio streaming, and aside from a bit of expected latency, everything works just fine. If you’re working remotely and need to hear what’s happening on your PC, like a video for example, you can now easily hear it from your connected device.
One notable omission is that you can’t control the PC’s volume with your Android device, but you can still access the volume settings on the host device to adjust it.
