The Pebble reboot project is beginning to feel real! The company just announced that the Pebble 2 Duo has entered production and listed some important reminders about the watch’s waterproof rating and build characteristics before shipping this month.

Following an early preview in March, the final design of the Pebble Time 2 reboot has been revealed alongside information about the build.

The “Pebble” name is officially back, as the Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2 smartwatches that were going to act as a reboot for the experience are now officially called the Pebble 2 Duo and Pebble Time 2*.

The reboot of Pebble smartwatches is nearing its release, as the “Core 2 Duo” will begin shipping next month, and there’s also some good news for original Pebble owners as well.

The initial reboot of the Pebble smartwatch — Core 2 Duo – is still on track to ship in July and a new video both offers a first look at the device, while also revealing how much tariffs may end up costing you as a buyer.

The Pebble is coming back, with the new “Core Devices” reboot preparing to launch in the next few weeks, and a neat USB-C adapter now being shown off for the Core 2 Duo.

Remember the Pebble Time 2? The long-awaited, modern-looking Pebble that was supposed to launch in 2016 had the hearts of fans at the time, but was brutally killed when Fitbit bought the company, leaving the hardware to never actually ship. Finally, though, that dream is being realized as the “Core Time 2” will be launching later this year, and it has some big upgrades.
